2020 Transition Patrol Alloy

The Patrol Alloy GX is the workhorse in our lineup focusing on performance and maximum durability. We tailored the build to give the rider the best possible brakes and suspension for the money in a value oriented package. Fox suspension heads up the build with the Factory DHX2 2-position rear shock that gives you four way adjustment and an on the fly lockout lever. Up front the Fox Float 36 Performance fork offers top of the line suspension feel with an easy to setup sweep lever for compression adjustment. Braking is handled by our favorite four piston skid triggers the SRAM Code RSC with reach and contact adjust along with 200mm front and 180mm rear rotors. The drivetrain is a complete GX Eagle setup with a massive 10-50 tooth gear range and durable alloy crankset. Top of the line Maxxis Minion 3C tires are mounted to Stan's Flow S1 wheelset, the benchmark for strength and value in the same package. The dropper post is the durable Bike Yoke Revive seatpost with a user friendly reset feature which ensures your bike can stay out of the shop and out on the trail instead. We are now including tubeless valves and 6ozs of Stan's Sealant for easy tubeless setup from the start.

The all new Patrol Alloy NX has been fully upgraded with better suspension and more powerful brakes while keeping an affordable price. The RockShox Super Deluxe Coil R rear shock has the same great feel as the top of the line models but with less external adjustments. The RockShox Lyrik Select fork features the tried and true Charger damper and low-speed compression adjustment to fine town the feel of the fork for any trail. Powerful brakes aren't a common site at this price, but we spec our favorite 4-piston Code R brakes with 200mm front rotor and 180mm rear rotor to give you plenty of power and total control on even the longest descents. The drivetrain is a complete SRAM NX Eagle group with 10-50 tooth gear range that makes steep uphills a snap. Top of the line Maxxis Minion 3C tires are mounted to the burly new Stan's Flow D Rims. The RaceFace Aeffect dropper post offers up to 170mm of drop with an ergonomic shifter style 1x remote. We are now including tubeless valves and 6ozs of Stan's Sealant for easy tubeless setup from the start.

Transition

All new range for 2018 featuring Speed Balanced Geometry. A simple idea; reduced fork offset and stem length countered by an increased reach and a steeper seat tube angle. The resulting affect on stability and handling is dramatic. If you have ever ridden a short offset fork you'll have some idea what it will feel like, but, to truly understand the difference that Transition have engineered into their 2018 range, they have to be ridden. Good job we have demo bikes!
